The Legend of Zelda Lives on With Nintendo

The late 1980’s didn’t offer much effort in pushing for the adventure based games since it was the personal computer games that had the inside track. Link made his debut in 1987 as a small prince fighting of the forces of evil in the different levels of the game of Zelda.

Legend of Zelda

While Zelda didn’t really make it big compared to that of Mario and Donkey Kong, the original role playing gamers know what Zelda is all about. The lack of exposure and push perhaps had a bearing on such, since arcade games back then were the immediate preferences.

The journeys of Link against the evil empire of Ganon, the boss of the whole game promises to be a challenging one. With so many adversaries of monsters that mix magic and might, side games that include secret passages and games make the game entirely appealing to the hardcore role playing enthusiast. Perhaps this is why Nintendo has made it a point to have it on its roster whenever it launches new gaming consoles until this day.
