Fans of Game Sequels

Most game enthusiasts would agree that games would usually follow the practice of movies in providing follow-up sequels such as Diablo, Warcraft and The SIMS. These games develop new installment packages for the fact that ones the original game has been completed, fans clamor for new twists and enhancements that would make the game more interesting.

World of Warcraft

Sequels are risks as well. Not all sequels are considered to be successful as expectations are taken to another level. It is entirely a new challenge and raising the bar towards the level set by people for the latest installment such as Warcraft 2 or 3, The SIMS 2 and Diablo 2, it cannot be avoided that they will be compared to the earlier version for review and comparison.

Such as been something to consider. While the area of graphics is something that is almost automatic, game play is also important. It should not be done in a way to which it covers only one side of a game developed, but the overall demands as solicited from avid gaming addicts the world has.

Another difference is that today, anyone can choose the game with the use of only one contraption since game cartridges make it flexible for them to choose the game that they are hooked on the most.

How to Make Your SIMS Flourish Independently

February 20, 2007 | Posted by sharker in Arcade Games, PC, Play Station, PlayStation 2, Playstation 3

Ever since Maxi’s first introduced their version of role playing games using the actual habits of people today, the response has found enormous addiction by people in evolving their created characters into successful people, largely taking into account personality, career and social interaction with actual in-game characters. Such can really be compared to modern day life where the mood swings and overall personality development of a character are indeed contributing factors into building better lives.

The SIMS

The SIMS gone as far as making a sequel in the SIMS 2 where graphics has become more attractive and actual game play broadened to cover other aspects of real-life issues. Interaction and the manner to which they would really be conversing and relating to people has expanded selections like flirting and going to the extent of marriage and putting up a family of their own to sweeten the pot.

While cheats may be available to make life easier, it is perhaps the cheat code for money that is best helpful since given the starting amount of cash, a SIM character cannot immediately live the life of luxury without funds to compensate such. While there are other means of putting up the resources needed, some would rather advance towards accomplishing their career goals and social interaction to be a step ahead of other game addicts of the SIMS installment package.

The Legend of Zelda Lives on With Nintendo

February 16, 2007 | Posted by sharker in Arcade Games, Game Cube, Gameboy, Nintendo, Wii

The late 1980’s didn’t offer much effort in pushing for the adventure based games since it was the personal computer games that had the inside track. Link made his debut in 1987 as a small prince fighting of the forces of evil in the different levels of the game of Zelda.

Legend of Zelda

While Zelda didn’t really make it big compared to that of Mario and Donkey Kong, the original role playing gamers know what Zelda is all about. The lack of exposure and push perhaps had a bearing on such, since arcade games back then were the immediate preferences.

The journeys of Link against the evil empire of Ganon, the boss of the whole game promises to be a challenging one. With so many adversaries of monsters that mix magic and might, side games that include secret passages and games make the game entirely appealing to the hardcore role playing enthusiast. Perhaps this is why Nintendo has made it a point to have it on its roster whenever it launches new gaming consoles until this day.
